Eee PC 1000HE con Atom N280 in prevendita

Con un comunicato ufficiale Asus ha presentato il nuovo Eee PC 1000HE, già visto al CES 2009, il primo netbook in commercio a montare il nuovo processore Atom N280 ed il primo modello della Eee Family fornito con la nuova tastiera, dal design e dalla configurazione differenti.

La nuova CPU (clock a 1.66 Ghz e FSB a 667 Mhz) sarà affiancata dal chipset Intel GD40 (capace di gestire flussi video in alta risoluzione), 160 Gb di disco rigido, wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth e batteria capace di un’autonomia di 9.5 ore, grazie soprattutto alla tecnologia Super Hybrid Engine (la stessa presente anche negli EeePC di ultima generazione).

Come già accennato, l’Eee PC 1000 HE avrà la nuova tastiera, con tasti “ad isola” ed il tasto Shift destro, finalmente a sinistra della freccia UP; si tratta di una nuova configurazione che sarà montata anche su altri modelli.

Tramite il gruppo ufficiale su Facebook, Asus permette di effettuare un preordine sul netbook (solo nel Nord America) e di usufruire, per alcuni giorni, di uno sconto pari a 25 dollari; l’Eee PC 1000 HE ha un costo pari a 399 dollari.
