same thing ahppening here. But I also have a ig scratch going though the top to the bottom – a straight line like 1.5 cm wide of scratch. from the top to the bottom…. I’m going to contact asus to et a repair. Laptop has been treated with extreme care

non mi hanno fornito spiegazioni, ma mi hanno invitato ad aprire le procedure per il rientro.

Hi, those “scratches” are caused by the blak sleeve. I have the red 901 and the flaws occured on places where the hem of the bag touches the netbook. I put a white fabric over the inside stitches and no other flaws occured.

My Sakura Blossom (white and “red” – looks more like dark pink) has the same, exact scratch-like marks in the same exact places where it is white. The inside of the case that came with it is all soft, I checked and I have no idea how the marks appeared.

Ottenuta riparazione in garanzia; un po’ lungo e complicato il tutto, ma spero ne sia valsa la pena (nel senso che spero che il problema non si ripresenti a distanza di tempo).

graffi riparati in garanzia, come scritto sopra…….però….stanno comparendo di nuovo sulla nuova cover sostituita …!!!!

stesso problema ragazzi…pensavo che ero stato io poco attento invece secondo me questo problema è dettato dalla scarsa qualita dei materiali sia dell’eeepc sia della custodia che non è totalmente chiusa ma lascia dei piccoli angoli aperti all’altezza delle cerniere.. ed è proprio li che mi sono spuntati i graffi, venuti fuori dopo un paio di volte che l’ho portato nello zaino…certo che questo fatto è proprio strano..in passato non ho voluto comprare un custodia che copriva totalmente il mio eeepc per il semplice fatto che la ritenevo una spesa inutile visto che Asus me ne forniva già una, se il problema è questo appena possibile ne comprerò una…..ragazzi purtroppo il problema si è verificato e quindi ce lo teniamo ingiustamente….se qualcuno sa dare qualche informazione su cosa risponde in merito ASUS e come poter risolvere il problema(es.garanzia) fareste un favore a tutti scrivendo qui…grazie….ciao ragazzi W EASY PEASY….và alla grande

sostituita la cover in garanzia…..l’Eee è tornato però con la batteria scheggiata perchè la ASUS non l’aveva protetta bene ; rimandata indietro per la sostituzione

I have the same problem with my eee 901 white which I’ve bought in Russia. I noticed it after a week. In the same places. The damage on the rear side on this photo looks ABSOLUTELY the same on my netbook!
