Nuovi SSD Active Media per netbook Asus

Active Media ha introdotto una nuova serie di dischi a stato solido (SSD) progettati per i netbook della linea Eee PC di Asus. I dischi arrivano in tagli dai 16 ai 64Gb e sono compatibili con gli Eee PC 900, 900A, 901 e S101.

Ad un prezzo compreso tra i 60 ed i 100 dollari, si possono acquistare i modelli della serie SaberTooth-S, proposti con capienza da 16 o 32 Gb e velocità pari a 90 MB/s in lettura e 55 MB/s in scrittura. Per una cifra più alta, che va dagli 80 ai 220 dollari, sono in vendita i dischi SSD della serie SaberTooth-SS proposti con capienza da 16, 32 e 64Gb e velocità pari a 155 MB/s in lettura e 100 MB/s in scrittura.

Tutti i dischi SSD Active Media sono su slot Mini PCI-Express, hanno interfaccia SATA-2 e dimensioni pari a 70 x 32 mm. Sono in vendita su Amazon.com, ma credo che per averli in Italia, sia necessario affidarsi a siti di importazione (o a Ebay).  Se avete maggiori informazioni su questo, scrivete pure nei commenti.
